Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place your choice of boneless chicken into the slow cooker along with diced onions, sliced carrots, celery, and minced garlic.
  2. Sprinkle dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the ingredients until submerged.
  4. Set slow cooker to low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken before serving, return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in frozen peas and cream, mix well.
  7. Drop dough over the mixture, cook on high for 30–45 minutes until fluffy.
  8. Adjust seasoning before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.
