  • 1 cup Beef Broth or Water for moisture
  • 1 tbsp Milk optional for creaminess

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add in ground beef, cooking until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to the baking dish, layer on thinly sliced potatoes, and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes. Pour beef broth or water around the edges.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
