Preparation Steps
- Begin by clearing your countertop and gathering all your ingredients to ensure a smooth workflow. Pop about 10 cups of air-popped popcorn in your air popper, ensuring it's unbuttered for the best results. Once popped, place it in a large bowl or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy mixing later.
- Separate your Campfire® FruitSwirler Marshmallows into distinct colors, placing each color in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to each bowl of marshmallows.
- Microwave the bowl of marshmallows and butter on high for about 30 seconds. Stir gently to combine, then return to the microwave for another 30 seconds, watching closely as the mixture melts into a smooth, glossy consistency.
- After melting the first color, swiftly pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popped popcorn, tossing to ensure even coverage. Repeat the melting process for the next set of marshmallows.
- Once all marshmallow colors are melted and combined with the popcorn, use your hands (lightly greased) or a spatula to mix everything well.
- While the popcorn mixture is still warm, sprinkle mini fruit marshmallows and colorful sprinkles over the top. Toss everything together to ensure the sprinkles adhere well.
