- Wash and slice 1 pound of fresh white or cremini mushrooms into even pieces. Mince 3 cloves of garlic finely.
- In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until it foams.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm.
