Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter or heat olive oil over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
- Generously season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Carefully place the fillets skin-side up in the hot skillet. Sear the salmon for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- After the salmon is golden, gently flip the fillets over and continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Once fully cooked, remove the salmon fillets from the skillet and tent them with aluminum foil to keep warm.
- Lower the heat to medium, and whisk together 1/4 cup of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 cloves of minced garlic in the same skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, gently coating them with the orange glaze.
- Carefully plate the Orange Glazed Salmon, ensuring it's drizzled with the sticky glaze. Serve warm.
