Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Boneless skinless chicken breasts Can use grilled vegetables or plant-based proteins like tofu.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Avocado oil can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh minced garlic (1 clove) can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Italian seasoning can be used in place of oregano.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika will increase smoky flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust based on dietary needs.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper White pepper can be substituted.
For the Wraps
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat tortillas Flour, spinach, or gluten-free tortillas can be used.
  • 1 cup Hummus Alternative spreads like tzatziki or avocado can be used.
For the Fresh Fillings
  • 2 cups Mixed greens Use any salad greens like spinach or arugula.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Zucchini may also be thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Regular tomatoes, diced.
  • 1/4 medium Red onion Green onions can be used for a milder flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese Goat cheese for a different flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Lime juice can replace lemon.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat, around 375°F (190°C).
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts, coating evenly. Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  5. Slice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, and thinly slice the red onion.
  6. Slice the grilled chicken against the grain into strips.
  7. Warm the tortillas in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave until pliable.
  8. Spread hummus on each warmed tortilla. Layer with mixed greens, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and feta cheese.
  9. Top with sliced chicken and drizzle with lemon juice.
  10. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom to secure all ingredients inside. Slice each wrap in half and serve.
