Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute.
  2. Add ground beef, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in onion and carrot. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  5. Mix in cabbage, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until cabbage is tender yet crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and optionally garnish with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
