Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine white sugar, brown sugar, soy sauce, cider vinegar, minced garlic, ginger paste, and ground black pepper. Whisk the mixture until the sugars dissolve completely, and the sauce has a smooth consistency.
- Take approximately 2 pounds of beef stew meat and place it directly into the bottom of your 6-quart slow cooker. Spread the beef pieces out evenly.
- Carefully pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over the beef in the slow cooker, ensuring every piece is coated as best as possible. Close the lid tightly.
- Set your slow cooker to low and let it cook for about 6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Stir until smooth and gently stir into the slow cooker.
- Once the sauce has thickened, serve your Crock Pot Beef Teriyaki over a bed of steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
