  • 1 can Canned Tuna (soaked in oil) Opt for Don Won Tuna
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Can be replaced with Greek yogurt
  • 3 tblsp Japanese Mayo
  • 1 tblsp Korean Chili Paste Adjust based on spice preference
  • 2 tblsp Masago Can be substituted with tobiko
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Can be omitted
For the Rice Base
  • 2 cups Sushi Rice Use prepared rice if available
  • 1 tblsp Sushi Seasoning Mix rice vinegar and sugar if unavailable
For Topping
  • 1 tblsp Furikake Sprinkle generously on top
  • 2 tblsp Additional Japanese Mayo Drizzle on top before broiling

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions, typically about 15 minutes. Allow it to sit covered for 5 minutes to steam. Mix warm rice with sushi seasoning and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the seasoned sushi rice evenly in a greased baking dish, pressing gently to create a solid base.
  3. Sprinkle a layer of masago over the rice, followed by a light dusting of furikake.
  4. Prepare creamy crab and spicy tuna in mixing bowls. Spread crab mixture on one side of the rice and spicy tuna on the other.
  5. Drizzle additional Japanese mayo over the top and sprinkle with furikake.
  6. Broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  7. Remove from oven, cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm with crispy nori sheets.
