Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions, typically about 15 minutes. Allow it to sit covered for 5 minutes to steam. Mix warm rice with sushi seasoning and set aside to cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the seasoned sushi rice evenly in a greased baking dish, pressing gently to create a solid base.
- Sprinkle a layer of masago over the rice, followed by a light dusting of furikake.
- Prepare creamy crab and spicy tuna in mixing bowls. Spread crab mixture on one side of the rice and spicy tuna on the other.
- Drizzle additional Japanese mayo over the top and sprinkle with furikake.
- Broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove from oven, cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm with crispy nori sheets.
