Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Allow to rest.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine grated Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat chicken breasts in the Parmesan and panko mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Add minced garlic to skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in cream and sprinkle in Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. If using, add spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted.
  9. Stir in more grated Parmesan to thicken sauce, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Plate the chicken and ladle creamy garlic sauce over it before serving.
