Step-by-Step Instructions for One Pan Creamy Tomato Pasta
  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in olive oil and let it warm for about 1 minute until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and continue to cook for another minute until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Stir in the canned diced tomatoes with juice, along with dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
