  • 1 lb Ground Beef can substitute with ground pork or turkey
  • 1 cup Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs essential for moisture and structure
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk soaks into breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs acts as a binding agent
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated for flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley can substitute with basil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano traditional Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil for browning meatballs
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce for simmering the meatballs

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine Italian seasoned breadcrumbs with whole milk. Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, eggs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, and optional red pepper flakes to the soaked breadcrumbs. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into uniform balls roughly 1 ½ inches in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown each side of the meatballs for about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Transfer browned meatballs to a pot with simmering marinara sauce. Cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot over spaghetti, in a meatball sub, or topped with extra Parmesan cheese.
