Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash 2-3 very ripe bananas until smooth, aiming for 1 to 1.5 cups of mashed bananas.
  3. In the mashed bananas, add 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, ½ cup of melted butter, ¼ cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together 1¾ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in 1 cup of chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  8. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
