Step-by-Step Instructions
- Unwrap all five Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed until a dough-like mixture forms, about 1-2 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out 1 tablespoon portions of the cake mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place them on the lined baking sheet.
- Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips or candy melts. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring, until smooth, about 1-2 minutes total.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
- Melt red candy melts in a separate bowl. Drizzle melted chocolate over the truffles and sprinkle with green sanding sugar before the drizzle sets.
- Place the decorated truffles back in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
