Cabbage Preparation
- Blanch the cabbage leaves in a large pot of boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath to cool.
Filling Preparation
- In a skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté shallots, then add garlic and ginger. Incorporate ground pork and cook through. Add carrots, fish sauce, tamari, and green onions, then cilantro.
Assembly
- Cut a V-shape out of each cabbage leaf's base. Place filling in the center and roll tightly. Arrange seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
Baking
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk together dipping sauce ingredients and pour over cabbage rolls. Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
