  2. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan for easy release.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a bowl, beat 1/2 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, mixing well.
