  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt to balance sweetness

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak 1 cup of Medjool dates in warm water for about 10 minutes, then drain and pit them.
  2. In a food processor, blend soaked dates with almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the brownies cool in the dish for 10 minutes before slicing them into 16 squares.
