Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour and salt gradually, mixing until a sticky dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes.
First Rise
  1. Oil a clean bowl with olive oil, place dough inside, cover, and let rise for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Garlic Oil Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute. Set aside to cool.
Shape and Second Rise
  1. Deflate the dough on a greased pan, create dimples and let rest for another 30 to 45 minutes.
Top and Bake
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush dough with garlic oil, sprinkle cheese and herbs, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and Serve
  1. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
