  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, instant pistachio pudding mix, eggs, lemon lime soda, vegetable oil, and green food coloring. Mix on medium speed for about 3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Remove from oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 30-45 minutes until room temperature.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the second box of instant pistachio pudding with cold milk, stirring until thick and creamy.
  6. Gently fold in the whipped topping into the pudding mixture, adding more green food coloring if desired.
  7. Once the cake is cooled, spread the pistachio frosting over the top and garnish with crushed pistachios.
