Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Using a mesh strainer, thoroughly drain the liquid from the sauerkraut.
  3. Grease the casserole dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Layer half of the corned beef slices in the dish. Add the drained sauerkraut and chopped dill pickles on top.
  5. Pour half of the Russian dressing over the first layer, followed by one-third of the Swiss cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool slightly, then serve hot, garnished with extra dill pickles and a drizzle of Russian dressing if desired.
