Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain the liquid from the sauerkraut using a mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  3. Grease the casserole dish generously with butter or cooking spray.
  4. Layer half of the sliced corned beef at the bottom of the casserole dish.
  5. Add half of the drained sauerkraut and distribute the diced pickles over the top.
  6. Pour half of the Russian dressing over the layered ingredients.
  7. Sprinkle approximately one-third of the Swiss cheese on top.
  8. Repeat the layering process with the remaining corned beef, sauerkraut, dill pickles, Russian dressing, and Swiss cheese.
  9. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  11. Let it sit for a few minutes, cut into squares and serve warm.
