Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 2 cups Water For brewing the tea
  • 2 bags Black Tea Or 2 tbsp of loose leaf tea for a fresher taste
For the Mango Puree
  • 2 cups Ripe Mango Or frozen mango cubes, for natural sweetness
  • 2 tbsp Honey Adjust to taste or swap with another sweetener
  • 2 cups Water For making the mango puree
To Serve
  • Ice For chilling the drink

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep 2 black tea bags for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool slightly.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with diced ripe mango. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a smooth puree.
  3. Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the brewed tea, pressing down to extract juice. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey until well combined.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool for about 10 minutes. Then fill glasses with ice and pour the iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mango slices if desired.
