  • 8 oz Cream Cheese ensure it's at room temperature
  • 1 cup Mandarin Oranges use fresh, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans substitute with walnuts or omit for nut-free
For the Bread
  • 8 slices Cinnamon Swirl Bread can replace with white or whole wheat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, add softened cream cheese and mix until smooth for about 1-2 minutes. Fold in the mandarin oranges, brown sugar, and chopped pecans.
  2. Lay out the cinnamon swirl bread slices evenly. Spread the creamy filling on half of the slices.
  3. Place the remaining slices on top and press down gently. Trim crusts if desired.
  4. Slice the sandwiches into desired shapes using a serrated knife.
  5. Transfer to a decorative platter and garnish if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
