Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and pumpkin puree until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine cold butter, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and additional spices to make crumb topping.
  6. Layer half of the pumpkin batter in the baking dish, sprinkle half of the crumb topping, then add the remaining batter and crumbs on top.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
