Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Wash the cucumbers under cold running water. If desired, peel them and dice into ½ inch pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add halved cherry tomatoes and finely chopped red onion to the cucumbers. Then, add grated cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Gently fold the ingredients together.
  3. Pour ranch dressing over the mixture and toss carefully to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If using fresh dill, fold it in at this stage.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving.
