- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic for 5-7 minutes.

- Add drained kidney and black beans, crushed tomatoes, and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker.
- Stir in tomato paste and beef broth, mixing thoroughly.
- Sprinkle in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; adjust seasoning to taste.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- After cooking, stir and adjust consistency with broth or water as needed.
