  2. Mix wet ingredients: add almond milk and vanilla to dry mixture, stirring gently until the dough begins to come together.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.
  4. Proof the dough in a greased bowl, covered, in a warm area for about 1.5 hours.
  5. After rising, punch down the dough, divide into six pieces, and shape each into a disc coated with sesame seeds.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F, ensuring proper temperature for frying.
  7. Fry each disc for 5-7 seconds on one side, then flip and fry until golden brown.
