  • 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese Finely shredded for best results
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Substitute with chili powder for heat
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning Optional, can swap for oregano or basil

Steps for Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel and slice two medium white onions into ¼-inch thick rings.
  3. Spoon 1 tablespoon of shredded parmesan onto the baking sheet, forming circles.
  4. Place an onion ring on each cheese circle and top with another tablespoon of shredded parmesan.
  5. Press down on each onion ring to help the cheese adhere and season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching for a golden-brown color.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the rings cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
