  4. Dip each cluster of mushrooms into the batter ensuring they are well-coated, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Carefully lower mushrooms into hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes until golden brown, flipping occasionally.
  6. Drain on a wire rack and season lightly with salt and furikake if desired. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
