Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and active dry yeast. Stir until evenly distributed.
  2. Pour in warm water and olive oil into the dry mix and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Transfer the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F and place a cast iron skillet on the stove over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough, stretch it into a round disk, and press it into the hot skillet.
  7. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, maintaining a border around the edges.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni slices, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  9. Drizzle olive oil around the crust edge to enhance crispiness.
  10. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
