Step-by-Step Instructions for Healthy Onion Dip
  1. In a medium sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over low heat. Add 2 sliced onions and 2 minced garlic cloves, stirring well to coat. Cook gently for about 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are deeply caramelized and golden brown.
  2. Once the onions are beautifully caramelized, remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool for about 5–10 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled onion mixture with 1 cup of non-fat Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  4. After mixing, taste the dip for seasoning and adjust salt and pepper to your preference. You can also sprinkle in more garlic powder or some fresh herbs.
  5. Transfer your creamy Healthy Greek Yogurt Onion Dip to a serving bowl, pairing it with fresh veggie sticks, crispy chips, or spreading it on sandwiches.
