  • 1 1/2 cups Half & Half Whole milk is a solid substitute for a lighter sauce.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, pour in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat until it shimmers, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the hot oil, stirring gently. Sauté for about 3 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  3. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of flour, 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix until smooth, cooking for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually pour in 1 1/2 cups of half & half while whisking continuously. Cook over medium heat for another 3-4 minutes until bubbling and thickened.
  5. To thicken, mix an additional tablespoon of flour with a splash of water and fold into the sauce, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before spreading over pizza dough.
