Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp cloth and slice them into even pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil over medium-high heat until melted.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  4. Continue cooking until most moisture has evaporated, around 2-3 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and add crushed garlic, oregano, and chili flakes; sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in cream, lemon juice, and grated Parmesan; cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and fold in chopped parsley before serving.
