  • 1 pound mushrooms sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

For best results, do not wash mushrooms under water. Use a damp cloth instead.
