Cooking Steps
- Heat the Skillet: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper, add to skillet, and sear for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed, then add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Build the Sauce: Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth and scrape the skillet bottom. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Create Creaminess: Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until thickened.
- Combine Chicken and Seasoning: Return chicken to skillet, add Italian seasoning, and coat everything together. Heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare the Bowls: Divide 4 cups of cooked rice among bowls. Add creamy chicken mixture on top.
- Add Vegetables and Garnish: Top bowls with steamed broccoli and garnish with parsley before serving.
