- Gradually pour in the heavy cream while whisking. Stir for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. Add Boursin cheese and cheddar, stirring until melted.
- Fold in the drained pasta. Adjust thickness with milk if necessary.
- In a skillet, melt the remaining butter and add breadcrumbs. Stir until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer mac and cheese to a dish, sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs on top, and serve hot.
