- In a large pot, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Once bubbling, add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until onion is translucent.
- Pour in 4 cups of seafood or chicken stock, stir to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of crab meat and 1 pound of deveined shrimp. Cook for 3-5 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
