- In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup of chia seeds, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or honey), and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk these ingredients together vigorously for about 1 minute until fully blended.
- Gradually pour in 2 cups of almond milk (or your preferred milk) while continuing to whisk the mixture for another minute until smooth and creamy.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the mixture to chill and thicken for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
