Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water for about 6-8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Fold in the cooked noodles, chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon into the sauce mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly, then sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
