Step-by-Step Instructions for French Onion Beef Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add dried egg noodles. Cook according to package directions, around 6-8 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, add lean ground beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, crumbling it until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper, then drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and Lay's French onion dip into the cooked beef until evenly coated.
  5. Gently fold the drained egg noodles into the beef and sauce mixture until well-coated.
