- In a medium bowl, combine sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and stir-fry the marinated beef for about 5 minutes until browned.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and stir-fry the sliced peppers, onion, and garlic for around 4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce and black pepper, stir, and cook for an additional 2 minutes before serving.
