  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Opt for low sodium for a lighter touch.
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
For the Vegetables
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil For high-heat cooking.
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper Can swap with green bell pepper.
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper Interchangeable with red.
  • 1 medium Onion Fresh onions for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for best aroma.
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce Substitute with hoisin sauce if needed.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and stir-fry the marinated beef for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and stir-fry the sliced peppers, onion, and garlic for around 4 minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce and black pepper, stir, and cook for an additional 2 minutes before serving.
