Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, cutting them into bite-sized pieces. Toss with olive oil and ranch seasoning.
  3. Spread the seasoned potatoes on the baking sheet and roast for 25 minutes, stirring halfway.
  4. Add the smoked sausage to the potatoes, toss, and bake for another 20 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the dish and return to the oven for 5-7 minutes until melted.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
