For the Salad
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce pre-washed
  • 0.5 cups Red Onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan Cheese grated
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil or avocado oil
  • 1 each Lemon Juice & Zest fresh lemons recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or agave syrup for vegan option
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes to taste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method
 

Make the Dressing
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice and zest, honey, salt and pepper until emulsified, 1-2 minutes.
Prepare the Salad
  1. Combine Romaine lettuce, red onion, and Parmesan cheese in a large bowl. Add red pepper flakes and toss gently.
Combine and Toss
  1. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss using salad tongs until everything is evenly coated.
