Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting the beef chuck roast into 2-3 inch chunks to ensure even cooking.
  2. Place the prepared beef chunks directly into the slow cooker and sprinkle onion soup mix and brown gravy mix evenly over the beef.
  3. Pour the apple cider vinegar over the seasoned beef in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the mashed potatoes and warm the garlic bread in the oven.
  6. Once everything is ready, gently spoon the beef and rich gravy over the mashed potatoes and serve with garlic bread.
