- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded hashbrowns, crispy bacon bits, and a generous amount of shredded cheese. Crack in a couple of beaten eggs and season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything together until well combined.

- Set your waffle iron to medium-high heat and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes. Lightly spray the cooking surface with non-stick cooking spray.

- Carefully spoon approximately 1 cup of the hashbrown mixture onto the center of the preheated waffle iron. Spread it out evenly to cover the surface.

- Close the waffle iron lid gently and cook the hashbrown mixture for 6 to 9 minutes until the outside is golden brown.

- Using a non-metal spatula, carefully remove the waffles from the iron and place them on a cooling rack or serving plate.
